Haptics Industry Forum is excited to announce that we have entered into a liaison agreement with Khronos Group. As you may know, Khronos Group is responsible for maintaining many of the most widely accepted open standards for digital experience, including for 3D graphics, VR and AR, and more.
As haptics is known to be a key enabling technology for presence, skill training, and interaction in virtual environments, we look forward to sharing the progress that Haptics Industry Forum members are making in standardizing haptic technology with Khronos, and keeping up to date with the work Khronos is doing to standardize virtual experience.
